Zavor LUX ZSELX03 makes great chicken casserole, amazing pulled pork and fluffy rice. It cooks fast and well – the food tastes great. With that being said it cooks just as good as any other good pressure cooker so it’s not necessarily better than all of them but it’s better than some.

Zavor LUX ZSELX03 has 12 cooking modes: low pressure (4 to 7 PSI), high pressure (10 to 13 PSI), low slow cook (190°F), high slow cook (212°F), steam/rice, brown rice, white rice, yogurt, sauté, simmer, brown and risotto. It also has time delay feature.

Control panel

Control panel is quite similar to most other pressure cookers. You get LCD display, two buttons for adjustments (- and +), Start/Stop button and buttons for all the functions.

To select a function just press the corresponding button. Two of the feature buttons (Pressure Cook and Slow Cook) are white (rest of them are black) because they have two modes (low and high) that you can cycle through.

Overall Zavor LUX Multi-Cooker is easy to use.

Features

Zavor LUX ZSELX03 has safety features like automatic locking lid and ressure regulator knob. It also has self-timing feature that prevents overcooking food.

Possible issues

Some consumers have complained about this model breaking after few months or 1 year of use even though majority of feedback is positive. This might indicate that long-term reliability might be not as good as with some of the other pressure cooker models but we can’t say for sure if it’s really more prone to breaking as this might be just a coincidence. Since most of consumer feedback is positive perhaps it’s not something to worry about.

Zavor LUX ZSELX03 is a very versatile multi-cooker that makes delicious food fast. With all its functions and generous cooking capacity it seems to offer great value for money however it might be more prone to breaking than other models.
