Yedi Total Package GV021 XL is air fryer oven with 12.7 quart cooking space and 1600 watt heating element. It can cook and dehydrate in temperatures from 120°F to 430°F, comes with ton of accessories and is pretty feature rich. So is that enough to make it a good air fryer oven?

Cooking

Yedi GV021 XL air fryer oven cooks food fast and doesn’t heat up your kitchen. Food comes out delicious and usually crispy. If you are not satisfied with how crispy is your food next time spray it with oil once or couple times. This will increase crispiness and even though you use some oil it’s still significantly less compared to other methods of cooking.

One slight flaw is that heat distribution isn’t perfectly even so if you are cooking something one side might be perfectly cooked whereas another one be a bit overcooked. Or if you cook cookies most can be done while couple are still a bit undercooked. This is something you won’t notice all the time, just occasionally (depending on what you cook), but since it does happen from time to time it still has to be mentioned.

Yedi GV021 XL air fryer even has rotisserie function and many presets (French Fries, Pizza, Wings, Chicken, Steak, Fish, Shrimp, Cake, Vegetables, Toast, Dehydrate, Bake, Keep Warm, Defrost and Frozen foods). Rotisserie might have issues with chickens that weighs over 3 lb but presets seem to work great.

There are 3 different tray levels. All parts that might come in contact with food are free of any PFOA, PTFE, BPA, lead and cadmium.

Accessories

Yedi GV021 XL air fryer oven comes with wide array of accessories including rotisserie tong, rotisserie rod, oven rack, drip pan, skewer rotisserie, rotisserie Cage, rotisserie steak Cage, shallow mesh basket, two mesh trays and even Yedi oven mitts and a recipe book.

Accessories feel well made and high quality. Are they dishwasher safe? Yedi doesn’t directly say they aren’t however they do mention it’s recommended you do not wash them in dishwasher.

The oven mitts are not great though. They are thin so you can hold something that’s hot for a brief moment.

Control panel

Yedi GV021 XL air fryer oven has display that shows temperature and time as well 8 buttons:

• “On/Off” button: Turns air fryer on or off.
• “Temp/Timer” button: Toggles between temperature and timer adjustment.
• “-” button: Decreases temperature in 10 degree increments or cooking time in 1 minute increments.
• “+” button: Increases temperature in 10 degree increments or cooking time in 1 minute increments.
• “Rotisserie” button: Engages rotisserie mode.
• “Menu” button: Toggles through presets/cooking modes (each mode has its separate indicator light, the one that illuminates is the one that’s currently selected).
• “Light” button: Turns interior light on or off.
• “Delay start” button: Allows you to delay cooking anywhere from 1 minute to 9 hours 59 minutes.

Overall Yedi GV021 XL air fryer oven is pretty simple to use. The amount of buttons and indicator lights might amuse you at first but you get used to it very fast.

Conclusions

Yedi GV021 XL air fryer offers a lot for the money making it amazing value for money. It’s not perfect though and has some flaws but for the money it’s a great deal.
