WORX WG155 10″ 20V Cordless String Trimmer Review
WORX WG155 is budget priced battery powered (cordless) string trimmer. It uses 0.065” line and has cutting swath of 10 inches – which is pretty small.
Performance
WORX WG155 does 8,500 RPM at no load, however considering it’s small cutting swath it’s not that impressive (but neither is it bad).
Cutting performance is pretty weak. WORX WG155 can manage light jobs but it’s underpowered for anything thicker.
It can be converted into edger but it doesn’t edge all too well.
Features
Despite being budget priced string trimmer WORX WG155 does have some features.
It has automatic line feeding system. It feeds line every time you release power trigger, so you don’t need to bump head however if you release power trigger often you will waste a lot of string.
WORX WG155 also has telescopic shaft and fully adjustable trimming head.
Ergonomics – weight, dimensions etc.
WORX WG155 is pretty comfortable to use if you are short. It’s very light – it weighs just 5.4 lbs (2.4 kg) making it lighter than nearly all weed wackers on market today. Also previously mentioned features telescopic shaft and fully adjustable trimming head improve ergonomics as well.
It measures approximately 35 inches long , 8.1 inches high and 5.6 inches wide. If you are of short height you will find it comfortable to use but taller folks might find it to be too short.
Protective shield is pretty bad as it doesn’t protect you properly – expect to be hit by debris.

Battery
WORX WG155 runs on 20-Volt lithium 1.5Ah battery. It lasts only 15-20 minutes on full charge and takes 4-5 hours to recharge.
Conclusions
Overall WORX WG155 doesn’t perform all that well as a string trimmer. If you plan to use it only for light jobs then it might satisfy you but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything more than light trimming.
