WIE JC-53 18-Bottle Compression Wine Cooler Review

WIE JC-53 is a single-zone compressor wine cooler with chamber temperature adjustable from 41°F to 46°F (5°C to 18°C). Temperature is consistent but can be off by as much as 4 degrees.

It holds 18 wine bottles, at least most of them. Some of the longer ones might not fit at all as shelves are not very long. They are pretty nice though and roll out smoothly.

WIE JC-53 doesn’t have front venting so it can’t be built-in and requires some clearance (4-6 inches from all sides including top).

Control panel

Control panel of WIE JC-53 features LCD temperature readout display and 4 touch sensitive buttons. One of them turns wine cooler on/off, another one is for turning interior light on or off and the last two are for temperature adjustment.

Design

WIE JC-53 is very sleek and modern looking. It really is very elegant especially with the beautiful blue ambient lighting that can be turned on.

Conclusions

WIE JC-53 doesn’t have front venting and although temperatures inside the chamber are constant they can be off by as much as 4 degrees. With that being said WIE JC-53 is rather inexpensive for a wine cooler of its capacity and very elegant too so overall it offers good value for money.
