Cooking

Food comes out flavorful and crispy without being greasy so you can say that Uten 5.8QT air fryer does cook well. Works great for cooking French Fries, chicken, bacon, small pizzas, sweet potatoes and more. Leftovers taste significantly better when warmed up with Uten 5.8QT air fryer than compared to microwave. It heats up fast and doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen or even the whole house on a hot summer day like a regular oven does.

Flaws/Possible Issues

There are two things you could complain about. First is that it has mechanical controls which are not as accurate as digital. The other thing is that this air fryer is not compact, it’s in fact somewhat large so if you are looking for something that doesn’t take up much counter space you might have to look for something even smaller.

Some consumers reported burning smell when cooking but this is quite normal (can happen with pretty much any air fryer) and goes away after first or first few cooking cycles. What causes this smell is protective substance burning away that protects heating elements from damage during shipping.
