UTALENT 180W Hand Mixer Review

UTALENT U-2046-W is inexpensive hand mixer with motor that outputs 180 watts in normal speed modes and allegedly 300 watts in “Turbo mode”.

Performance

UTALENT U-2046-W hand mixer is quite powerful for the money. It’s not quite as powerful as high-end hand mixers but the power is sufficient in most situations. For a more serious jobs where you want to mix a lot of hard/thick dough you would want to use a stand mixer anyway.

The only real issue with UTALENT hand mixer mixing wise is that even the slowest speed setting is very fast so splattering is essentially unavoidable.

Ergonomics

UTALENT U-2046-W hand mixer is comfortable to hold and isn’t too heavy. It’s also on smaller side of stand mixers (7.16” x 3.15” x 5.6”) which might be a good thing if you have small hands Only issue ease of use wise is that eject button is a bit stiff and might be hard to press for some.

Attachments

UTALENT U-2046-W hand mixer comes with 5 attachments which is quite a lot for a cheap hand mixer like this. It comes with two dough hooks, two beaters and a whisk. They are dishwasher safe.

Conclusions

UTALENT U-2046-W hand mixer isn’t perfect but nobody would expect that from a budget priced model. It’s however more powerful than most other similarly priced hand mixers so you could say it offers good value for money.
