Performance

Toro 38361 is not a proper replacement for a snow blower but its a lot better for light duty jobs than shoveling.

It handles 6-8 inches of light snow surprisingly well. If the snow is deeper you will have to do two or more passes because of small intake height.

It does struggle in wet snow though. It might handle couple inches of it just fine but more than that and it will likely clog up a lot.

It throws snow around 15 feet – not bad, however it throws it high in the air and only straight forward meaning it can throw some snow in your face especially if it’s powdery in windy conditions.

Ergonomics

Toro 38361 is pretty easy to use. It weighs just 13.5 pounds (6.1 kg) so it’s not burdensome or tiring to use. Length and angle of the handle are adjustable however if you are tall it might not adjust tall enough for optimal comfort.

Cord

Toro 38361 electric snow thrower is cord powered. You need to use a appropriate cord for it to perform properly.

Use 16 gauge wire for up to 100 feet and 12 gauge for over 100 feet.
