TaoTronics TT-DL16 LED Desk Lamp Review

TaoTronics TT-DL16 is made of aluminium with brushed metallic finish that’s fingertip resistant and looks amazing! It feels and is very well made and sturdy. Since it’s made of aluminium which conducts heat well TaoTronics TT-DL16 led lamp can get a bit warm when using brightest settings however it doesn’t get hot enough to burn your skin or to be painful to touch.

Base, neck and head are rotatable which offers a lot of adjustability when choosing the position of light source. The base is pretty small yet somehow heavy enough to keep the lamp stable.

It has a total of 30 different lighting settings with 5 different color modes (from incandescent yellowish to fluorescent white-blue color) and 6 different brightness levels (from very dim to super bright). With such a big range of customization you will sure find the perfect lighting for your needs and once you do you can save it as a preset (by holding a button with “human with heart” icon). When you turn on TaoTronics TT-DL16 it automatically uses the setting you used before turning it off but it can switch to your favorite one with a single tap of a button.

At maximum brightness TaoTronics TT-DL16 emits 600 lumens (which is A LOT!) of glare-free and non-flickering light. Correlated Color temperature ranges from 2700K to 6500K depending on chosen settings, it’s not the widest range offered at this pricing but it’s more than enough.

TaoTronics TT-DL16 desk lamp has intuitive interface and touch sensitive buttons that work great. They are responsive and easy to use, they only register touch of the skin just like your smartphones screen.

TaoTronics TT-DL16 has nightlight setting which emits very dim light which won’t blind you when waking up in the middle of night. It also has timer function which will automatically turn off the lamp after 1 hour.

TaoTronics TT-DL16 has integrated USB port so you can charge devices like your smartphone using the lamp. It’s powered by plugging in socket with the cord being 72 inches long.

Overall this is a great LED desk lamp – it’s well made, stylish, feature-rich and works great.
