TACKLIFE Electric Snow Blower Review

TACKLIFE GST01 is corded electric snow blower with 15-amp motor. With its clearing width of 18 inches and depth of 10 it can move up to 800 pounds of snow per minute – at least according to manufacturer. It’s also extremely inexpensive raising concerns whether it can be any good at all, so what’s the case?

Performance

As expected for the incredibly low price performance isn’t great but TACKLIFE electric snow blower can be useful for light duty jobs. It clears up to 6-8 inches of light snow pretty well. It’s not good in wet snow – it might handle inch or two in some cases but other times it will just get clogged up immediately.

Quality

Most of the unit is made of plastic which does feel flimsy. If you don’t abuse the unit it might last. Not everything about this snow blower is cheaply made – the 4-blade auger is made of steel which arguably is the most important part of the snow blower. Blades are made of rubber though.

Ease of use

TACKLIFE electric snow blower isn’t self-propelled so you have to push it yourself. Since it’s light it’s not hard unless the snow is dense and heavy. Because of light weight it’s also easy to maneuver.

Features

Chute adjusts 180 degrees, deflector is adjustable too. It has 7 inch plastic wheels.

Conclusions

TACKLIFE electric snow blower is not made for wet snow of heavy snowfalls but it can tackle some light duty jobs somewhat well. If your area gets lights snowfalls this might be a better alternative to shoveling in some cases.
