Suncast DB10300 is an inexpensive deck box that offers a lot of storage capacity – 103 gallons to be precise. Is there a reason why it’s less expensive than other deck boxes of similar storage capacity including ones from Suncast itself?
Suncast DB10300 storage box is made of resin plastic. The reason of low price becomes apparent very fast – the panels are thin. And once you assemble the deck box it’s noticeably less sturdy than many others including Suncast DBW9200 which offers slightly less storage capacity and usually retails at a bit higher price. Some deck boxes are sturdy enough to be sat on but I wouldn’t dare anyone to sit on Suncast DB10300.
Does the less robustness render it useless? Not quite. If you assemble it properly it’s still able to work as a storage box acceptably well but the lower quality does raise some questions like how long will it last? Some of the customers have also complained about bent lids but this doesn’t seem like a very common issue.
Some people will be able to accept lower quality to save money but perhaps buying something slightly more expensive that’s better made like Suncast DBW9200 is a better idea.
Suncast DB10300 has wheels for easier moving and lid opens on plastic hinges – it can stay open on itself for easy loading/unloading.
All you have to do to assemble Suncast DB10300 storage box is assemble pieces together. It’s simple to do and shouldn’t take longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.
Suncast DB10300 is quite inexpensive and for a reason. It feels flimsy but despite that it can actually works as storage container reasonably well. Whether you want to save money or get something sturdier like Suncast DBW9200 is up to you!
