Royal Gourmet CD1824AX charcoal grill cooks evenly and works just fine for delicious results. Charcoal pan is height adjustable with 6 levels. You can adjust air flow with two side dampers. For a grill this inexpensive it cooks really well.

Quality

Being a cheaper grill the quality won’t be the best however it’s surprisingly well made for its price. The metal could be thicker but it’s not that bad considering grills of this size at this pricing usually are absolutely horrid.

Assembly

The difficulty of assembling this grill is its biggest flaw. It’s complicated and will take around 2 hours. Make sure you read instructions very carefully and follow them precisely as otherwise you might find yourself having to start over from scratch. Be sure not to tighten any screws before step 5.

Possible issues

Some consumers reported receiving dented grill which also makes it a lot harder to put together as dented parts often mean they will not fit well together and might also result in air gaps. With that being said most consumers did not experience this issue.
