PowerXL GLA-1005 is the largest air fryer with 12-quart capacity. It’s also the only one that’s oven type air fryer whereas others are basket type. It has adjustable temperature range of 90°F to 400°F.

Performance

PowerXL GLA-1005 does cook well however it only has heating element on the top. This means that you might have to flip food halfway cooking cycle for it to be perfectly evenly cooked on both sides. With that being said most meals are properly cooked without having you need to flip it.

PowerXL GLA-1005 air fryer has 10 cooking modes: reheat, french fries, steak/chops, fish, shrimp, pizza, chicken, baking, rotisserie and dehydrate.

As you can see there is a rotisserie function and this air fryer does come with rotisserie spit so you can cook a small chicken or hen with it. It also comes with rotating basket.

Control panel

Control panel is similar to most other air fryers. You get LED display screen and touch-sensitive buttons. You also get internal light (turns interior light on or off) and rotation (start rotation when using rotisserie accessories, this button will blink when it’s activated) buttons.

Clean up

Accessories are dishwasher safe so they are easy to clean. Grease flows to the drip tray. Only thing to complain is that some of the crumbs or grease can get stuck in hard to access spaces.

Verdict

PowerXL GLA-1005 is a decent air fryer oven. Overall it’s slightly less good than the models rated above it however for some consumers this might be the model to get if they are looking for oven type air fryer with rotisserie features.
