Power 3.4 QT XL Black Air Fryer Review
Power 3.4 QT XL black air fryer is a relatively cheap unit that’s big enough to cook for 2 people. It’s a pretty popular model but does it deserve to be?
Cooking
It cooks pretty well, food ends up moist inside and crispy on outside. However it doesn’t seem to cook perfectly evenly like some other models. The difference isn’t very pronounced and some might not even notice it. Overall it cooks pretty well and food turns out delicious as long as you get setting right but there’s some room for improvement.
It does have 7 presets (french fries, roasts, shrimp, bake, chicken, steak and fish) and they seem to work pretty well.
Control panel
Control panel features LCD display and touch sensitive buttons for turning air fryer on/off, selecting cooking time and temperature, presets, etc. It’s simple to use. Temperature can be adjusted from 180 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit in 10 degree increments.
Issues
Power 3.4 QT XL black air fryer is a bit difficult to clean. Although unpleasant it’s not necessarily the reason to not buy this air fryer. However some consumers complaints can be – many have complained about non-stick coating peeling off or air fryer failing all together after 1 year of use or less.
Conclusions
Even though it cooks well it’s not up to the quality of other air fryers. On top of that reliability and non-stick coating issues some consumer have complained about are very concerning so it’s likely a wiser choice to look for a different model.
