OXO BREW electric kettle boils faster pretty fast. It doesn’t taste contaminated with anything so overall it works well.

Features

OXO BREW electric kettle has LED power switch that illuminates when Kettle is on and turns off when water has been heated to boiling point. The cord it attached to 360 degree swivel base and can be wrapped around it for storage. Kettle itself is cordless.

Non-slip handle provides safe grip however the handle is quite long which makes up for weird distribution so it’s a bit less comfortable to hold. The glass is durable borosilicate that is thermal shock resistant.

Inside the kettle you will find perforated stainless steel filter that’s is removable for clean up.

Possible issues

Some consumers reported that their OXO BREW electic kettle broke after about 1 year of use. Some also have had issues with lid opening when water reaches boiling point.

Verdict

OXO BREW electric kettle isn’t particularly special so it feels a bit overpriced. It does work just fine however some consumers have had problems with long-term reliability and lid mechanism.
