The biggest advantage of pressure cookers is how fast they cook and how convenient they make the whole process. It’s present here too with the NuWave Nutri-Pot 8-Quart pressure cooker. It cooks fast but does it cook well too?

In short – yes, it does. Meat, rice, soups , vegetables and other meals come out near perfect. It has 11 presets (rice, multi-grain, soup, meat/stew, poultry, beans, fish, steam/veggies, bake, potatoes and canning) and they all seem to work great. There are also also has 6 cooking functions: time, texture, delay, warm, sear and slow cook.

If you are not present immediately after cooking has finished NuWave Nutri-Pot 8-Quart pressure cooker will enter “Warm” mode and will keep your food warm for a while.


Inner cooking pot

Inner cooking pot has non-stick coating and is dishwasher-safe making it easy to clean.


Accessories

NuWave Nutri-Pot 8-Quart digital pressure cooker comes with inner cooking pot, glass lid (for slow cooking), cooking rack, measuring cup, soup ladle, rice spoon and recipe/manual book.


Possible issues

Some consumers have reported issues with sealing the lid or having difficulties removing it.

NuWave Nutri-Pot 8-Quart pressure cooker is versatile yet affordable making it a great value for money. Not everyone will need the extra space over the 6-quart models but in some situations those additional 2 quarts really does make a difference.
