Control panel is pretty much the same as on most other air fryers – you get display screen and touch sensitive buttons. Control panel is easy to use however some consumers have reported printings on the buttons wearing off over time.
Since this is an oven type air fryer it has a viewing window and a light that you can turn on to see how your food is cooking. It also has preheat function in case you want to preheat the air fryer before cooking (this often improves the results).
The front door is also removable which makes it easier to clean the air fryer (and the door itself too).
Out of all NuWave air fryers the 15.5 quart air fryer oven is certainly the best! It might be a bit on expensive side but it’s very versatile, doesn’t have any significant flaws and cooks well!

Quite a bit of consumers have had issues with nonstick coating peeling off. The most likely cause for this is either bad quality of nonstick coating or incorrect way of cleaning nonstick surfaces (you shouldn’t use any abrasive materials as it might damage the coating).
Some consumers also reported that their NUWAVE BRIO 6-quart air fryer stopped working after few months of use but this issue seems to be less common.
With that being said keep in mind majority of consumer feedback is positive so perhaps these issues aren’t too common.
