Northair HZB-22/S Portable Ice Maker (48lbs/24H) Review

Northair HZB-22/S portable ice maker produces up to 48 lbs of ice cubes in 24 hours or about 2 pounds per hour which is considerably more than most portable ice machines which usually make only around 1 lbs per hour.

It can make bullet shaped ice cubes with hollow inside in three different sizes: small, medium and large. It makes a batch of 12 ice cubes every 8-12 minutes.

Ice cube quality is good and they are really chewable.

Already made ice cubes slowly melt inside the ice maker so for later use you will have to put them in freezer but they can freeze together into a clump of ice which you will have to break apart with ice pick afterwards.

Northair HZB-22/S has sensors that detect when ice basket is full or water reservoir empty and pauses ice production until you take care of it.Ice basket can hold 2.65 lbs of ice cubes and water reservoir capacity is 1.32 gallons or 5 liters.
