Ninja OP401 Foodi does cook really well both as a pressure cooker and an air fryer. It makes cooking very simple and results are delicious.

You can cook so many different meals – steaks, ribs, whole chicken (7 pound), jerky, chicken nuggets, hamburger patties, pork chops, rice, veggies or crispy french fries and many more – the options are endless but the best part is that everything tastes great.

The dual purpose even creates new possibilities. You can pressure cook whole chicken to make it rich in flavour and very tender and then air fry it for crispy skin.

Ninja OP401 Foodi has 8 cooking modes: pressure, steam, slow cook, sear/sauté, air crisp, bake/roast, broil, and Dehydrate as well “Keep warm” feature. They all seem to work great!

Cooking pot

Ninja OP401 Foodi comes with two cooking pots: 8-quart “cooking pot” and 5-quart “cook and crisp basket”. Both of them are ceramic-coated and dishwasher safe making them easy to clean. It’s also worth to mention that ceramic coating is not potentially harmful like teflon nonstick coating.

Control panel

Control panel is very simple and easy to use. On the top of the control panel there are buttons for adjustments (temperature and time), in the middle for cooking functions and at the bottom “Keep Warm”, “Start/Stop” and “On/Off” buttons. The button layout is intuitive.

Verdict

Ninja OP401 Foodi is expensive but is it worth the money? For its versatility it certainly is. It manages to be a good air fryer and pressure cooker at the same time so if you want both then Ninja OP401 Foodi will do the job!
