MEGAWISE VS26621 80kPa Vacuum Sealer Review

MEGAWISE VS26621 is one of the most popular recently released vacuum sealers. It’s compact and relatively inexpensive. So how well does it work?

Performance

MEGAWISE VS26621 uses electromagnetic perm and pure copper core to create vacuum seal with 80 kPa of suction. Most of the time it works just fine but it could make use of more suction power as occasionally it doesn’t quite suck all the air out. Getting rid out of all wrinkles in bags helps.

MEGAWISE VS26621 comes with air suction hose and can be used on vacuum jars or vacuum containers.

It heats up pretty fast too which decreases efficiency so you have to wait between seals for it to cool down. Manual states you have to allow it to cool down for 60 seconds between the seals.

Control panel

MEGAWISE VS26621 vacuum sealer is very simple to use. Just put vacuum bag in the chamber, lock the machine and press “VAC/Seal” button. In 20 seconds or less your bag will be vacuum sealed.

It has 4 buttons: “Food” button that switches between dry or moist setting, “Seal” button that simply seals bag without vacuuming, “Vac Seal” button which does exactly what you want and “Stop” button which is also self-explanatory.

MEGAWISE VS26621 also has glider external sliding cutter for cutting excess bag.

Vacuum bags

MEGAWISE VS26621 vacuum sealer comes with 10 BPA-free vacuum bags. Five of them measure 11.7″ by 7.9″ and the other five – 15.7″ by 11″ (which are the widest bags that will fit MEGAWISE).

Dimensions and weight

MEGAWISE VS26621 80kPa vacuum sealer weighs just 2.1 lbs and measures 15.2 inches wide, 4.1 inches deep and 2.3 inches high. It’s lightweight and compact making it portable.

Conclusions

MEGAWISE VS26621 is a decent vacuum sealer but it’s not perfect. It works well most of the time but sometimes does lack a bit of suction power. For the money it’s pretty good vacuum sealer though.
