Leisurelife 120 gallon deck box is made of pp plastic. Does the low price reflect in quality? Yes it does.

Deck box doesn’t feel sturdy, it actually feels a bit flimsy. Even though Leisurelife claims the lid can support up to 176 lbs of weight I wouldn’t recommend sitting on it even if you weigh less than that. The most concerning thing is hinges – even though rest of the deck box does feel flimsy it’s sturdy enough to last if you don’t abuse it, however since hinges are made of pp plastic too it’s very hard to predict how long they will survive.

Does the quality is so bad that the storage box is useless? No, it’s not that bad. It’s sturdy enough to work well enough for storing your belongings as long as hinges last.

Assembly

Be sure you follow instructions, especially the right sequence of snapping pieces together. Also be sure you snap together the right pieces because if you accidentally snap wrong pieces together it will be very hard to unsnap them without breaking anything.

If you are having a hard time of snapping pieces together warming contact points with hairdryer will make it easier but be careful not to overdo it to the point they melt.
