KUPPET 4.7QT 8-Speed Stand Mixer Review

KUPPET 4.7QT stand mixer is equipped with 380 watt motor. It’s one of the cheapest stand mixers you can buy but is it any good?

Performance

KUPPET 4.7QT stand mixer does actually work which is a good start for such an inexpensive appliance however it becomes apparent very fast that this isn’t a great stand mixer.

First of all the power isn’t great. This machine will struggle with tougher doughs but can handle most reasonably well. The bigger issue however is that the attachments don’t cover the very bottom and sides of the bowl so some of the ingredients remain unmixed.

For occasional use you might live with the drawbacks however if you plan to use stand mixer often or on daily basis you really need proper stand mixer which unfortunately will be a lot more expensive. Ideal alternative would be KitchenAid KSM150PS Artisan 5-QT. stand mixer however it’s so much more expensive you can’t really compare the two.

Quality

The overall quality is mediocre as expected from such a inexpensive appliance. The housing is made of plastic so the stand mixer doesn’t feel heavy duty. The quality of attachments isn’t terrible but neither is it great.

For the money the quality is acceptable but it no way can it be compared to KitchenAid stand mixers.

Attachments/Accessories

KUPPET 4.7QT stand mixer comes with 4.7QT Stainless steel bowl, wire whip, dough hook, flat beater, and splash guard. The manual says none of them are dish-washer safe however some listings do say that stainless bowl, wire whip and beater are. I guess you should trust the manual.

KUPPET 4.7QT stand mixer features 4 anti-slip silicone suction cup that keep it stay put and tilt-head design that makes installing attachments simple.

Verdict

You get what you pay for. KUPPET 4.7QT stand mixer is cheap for a reason – it’s not a high quality appliance. If you need to use stand mixer rarely you might live with its flaws but for daily use this is not good enough. It’s not going to impress you in any way and might even disappoint you.
