KUPPET JC-90 is a compressor cooled freestanding wine cooler that holds up to 27 wine bottles. If features adjustable temperature from 41°F to 68°F (5°C to 20°C).
KUPPET JC-90 takes a long time to cool down, in some cases nearly 24 hours. You should let it cool down before putting any beverages inside. Once it achieves set temperature it can fluctuate or be constant but be off by few degrees. It does operate quietly though.
Shelves are made of stainless metal but are not very sturdy and do sag a bit from the weight of bottles. They seem to be able to handle the weight without breaking but the fact that they sag is concerning as eventually they might wear out and break.
Also you likely won’t be able to fit 27 wine bottles inside, expect to fit 15-22 depending on the size of bottles, how you place them and how much you are willing to risk (since shelves sag).
Controls are simple and basic. There’s an LCD display that shows set temperature aa well 4 buttons: for turning interior light on, for switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius scales, for increasing temperature in 1 degree increments and another one for decreasing temperature in 1 degree increments.
Size and weight
KUPPET JC-90 beverage cooler weighs 54 lbs and measures 18.5 inches wide, 18.1 inches deep and 33.3 inches high.
KUPPET JC-90 wine cooler doesn’t feature front venting which is why it cannot be built in, it can only be used as freestanding unit.
KUPPET JC-90 is an inexpensive wine/beverage cooler but being cheap it does have flaws. If you are looking for a cheap unit and don’t mind the mentioned downsides it can be a viable choice, however if you want something more solid look for something more expensive and preferably with front venting if you want more constant temperature control.
