KitchenAid Artisan Mini Review

KitchenAid Artisan Mini is a stand mixer with 250 watt motor. This is a smaller model with 3.5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl so it doesn’t take up much counter space however the mixing bowl won’t be large enough for larger cooking projects.

Performance

KitchenAid Artisan Mini works well. Power is more than adequate for bowl size and it does a good job of mixing and whipping everything thoroughly. During operation it’s very stable but stand mixer head can vibrate a bit.

Motor is very, very quiet too. Some stand mixers are loud enough to cause a headache but with KitchenAid Artisan Mini is so quiet you can mix without waking up anyone at your home.

Quality

The quality of the stand mixer, bowl and accessories are good but there is some room for improvement. It does however feel a lot better made than cheaper stand mixers.

KitchenAid Artisan Mini comes with flex edge beater, coated dough hook and 6-wire whip.

Verdict

KitchenAid Artisan Mini is a bit expensive however it’s better made than cheaper models and seems to mix slightly better too. If that’s enough to justify higher price tag and you want a compact stand mixer then this is the one to choose. If you have larger family then Artisan Mini might be too small for your needs and KitchenAid Artisan or KitchenAid 600 Series would be a better choice as they have larger mixing bowls.
