Performance

Does KitchenAid Professional 600 Series stand mixer actually mix doughs better than cheap stand mixers? Yes it does.

It’s equipped with a very powerful motor which won’t struggle with really hard and thick doughs. Since KitchenAid Professional 600 Series stand mixer comes with pretty large 6-quart mixing bowl so a less powerful motor wouldn’t be sufficient but the 575 watt it’s equipped with is.

What makes the biggest difference probably is the design of attachments and the fact that they move around the bowl to cover every single corner and mix everything thoroughly.

Some consumers have complained about it being noisy and they are somewhat right. KitchenAid Professional 600 Series is a bit on louder side of stand mixers but it isn’t obnoxiously loud where it would really be a problem. If you have used a super-quiet stand mixer up to now (like KitchenAid Artisan Mini) then you might find the extra noise a bit annoying at first but you get used to it.

Quality

The overall build quality is another thing that justifies the price tag. It feels so much sturdier than cheaper stand mixers. This is something that’s designed to last.

Attachments are not dishwasher safe but KitchenAid sells ones that are so you can buy them separately (they are also of higher quality). The stainless steel bowl luckily is dishwasher safe.

This stand mixer has soft start feature (speeds up gradually) which reduces splattering. Mixing bowl can be adjusted in height.

Overall KitchenAid Professional 600 Series is exceptional stand mixer. It’s a bit more expensive than your average stand mixer but not without a reason. It’s very well made, powerful and mixes great!
