KICHOT SM-1570N is a stand mixer equipped with 800 watt motor and 10.6 quart mixing bowl. It’s more affordable than KitchenAid models but is it a worthy alternative?
KICHOT 10.6-Quart stand mixer has 6 speed settings – less than ideal but this really isn’t an issue. Motor is quite powerful and doesn’t struggle with larger doughs.
So how well does it do the job of mixing? Not as well as KitchenAid. Attachments doesn’t reach the very bottom of the bowl meaning you will have to scrape quite often. Another flaw is that you can’t run this stand mixer for more than 10 minutes as motor needs ten more minutes to cool down. This can be very inconvenient at times as you won’t be able to finish all mixing jobs in 10 minutes.
As you can see KICHOT SM-1570N is far from perfect. It does the job but it’s no KitchenAid.
KICHOT 10.6-Quart stand mixer comes with metal head whisk, aluminum dough hook and aluminum flat neater attachments. It also comes with other accessories like splash guard cover (with access port), egg separator and silicon spatula.
Overall build quality isn’t terrible however KICHOT SM-1570N doesn’t feel nowhere near as well made or sturdy as KitchenAid stand mixers.
Bowl has no handle and when it’s full with dough/batter it becomes heavy and uncomfortable to hold.
KICHOT SM-1570N feels like a toy when compared to KitchenAid KSM7581 and it doesn’t work as well too however it’s a lot more affordable. It’s hard to call it a bad stand mixer just on the basis of it being a lot less expensive but there’s a reason for price difference. If you are ready to accept its flaws then it might just be worth the money.
