Quality

Keter Springwood 80 gallon deck box is made of UV-protected polypropylene resin which is a type of plastic.

It does feel cheaply made and a bit flimsy. Body panels are quite thin except lid. Biggest concern is hinges – they are made of plastic so they might not last for years to come.

According to Keter lid of Springwood 80 gallon deck box can support up to 551 lbs or 250 kg. It doesn’t feel that it could do that safely.

Is quality good enough? It depends. If you need to put something in or take out once in a while this deck box might serve well enough despite some of the flaws. If you plan to use it daily or use it as decor perhaps you should look something that’s better made.

Keter Springwood 80 gallon deck box has built-in handles and rollers so it’s easy to move.

It also can be locked with a padlock but it doesn’t come with one. How much point there is of that is debatable. Since deck box isn’t that sturdy it wouldn’t be too hard to break apart, then again it would cause a lot of noise which would alert everyone nearby and therefore might keep thieves away.

Assembly

Deck box is easy to assemble. Whole process takes about 10 minutes.

Conclusions

Quality is a bit disappointing and it’s questionable how long it will last. It’s not entirely terrible deck box but for the money it could be a bit sturdier.
