Keter Eden 70 Gallon Outdoor Patio Storage Bench Review

Keter Eden is a bench that also works as a storage box with storage capacity of 70 gallons. It’s rather inexpensive for what it’s so one question does arise – is it any good?

Quality

Keter Eden storage bench is made of polypropylene plastic. Quality is not great but it’s acceptable. It does feel cheap and flimsy in a way yet paradoxically it’s actually sturdy enough to be sat on. Keter claims that it can support weight of 771 lbs and although you probably shouldn’t try to test their claims it should be safe to hold 600 lbs as long as it’s assembled correctly.

Bottom panel is a bit more flimsy which is why Keter claims you can only store up to 71 lbs of stuff inside the bench.

Keter Eden storage bench likely won’t last for decades to come but it should be good for 5-10 years which is very reasonable for its price.

Features

Other than being able to sit on it Keter Eden storage bench doesn’t have many features. It actually only has 2 – its wood like texture (that no one will mistake for real wood) and the fact that it can be locked with a padlock. However padlock is not included and you will have to purchase one separately if you already don’t have one and will want to lock the storage area.

Assembly

Assembly isn’t that difficult but can be a bit time consuming. Most of it is simply snapping pieces together and it’s very important you make sure you have snapped all of them properly. Only tool required is a screwdriver for 21 screws.

Conclusions

Keter Eden is an inexpensive storage bench and it shows. Quality is mediocre but it’s sturdy enough to serve its purpose as long as you assemble it properly.
