Keter Denali 30-Gallon Outdoor Storage Deck Box Review

Keter Denali is outdoor deck box with 30 gallon storage capacity. Despite offering significantly less storage space than most deck boxes it’s still quite roomy. The real question is whether it’s worth the money?

Quality

Keter Denali is made of polypropylene resin plastic – doesn’t sound impressive but it’s actually quite sturdy. Keter claims that lid can hold up to 286 lbs so you can use it as a bench and you really can. But should you? Perhaps not. Even though when brand new it can hold 286 lbs regularly using it as a bench will cause a lot of stress on supporting structure which will wear it out over time and make it less sturdy over time i.e. decrease the actual weight it can hold.

Waterproofness

Although you can’t call Keter Denali waterproof as if you submerged it in water it would probably get inside it seems to be very watertight as rain water fails to get inside the box.

Aesthetics

Despite being made of plastic it actually looks pretty good. Top is made to look like stitched leather.

Features

Keter Denali 30-gallon deck box has built-in handles for easier moving, lockable lid (although it doesn’t come with lock so you will have to acquire it yourself) and can be used as a bench or table.

Assembly

Assembling Keter Denali 30-gallon deck box is super simple. It takes just couple minutes to complete and since all you have to do is snap pieces together it doesn’t require any tools. You don’t have to apply much force to snap panels together.

Keter Denali 30-gallon deck box measures 20.8 inches wide, 20.8 inches deep and 20.9 inches high.

Conclusions

Keter Denali is a great deck box. If 30 gallons of storage capacity is sufficient for you then this is a great deck box to buy.
