Keeper Rooftop Cargo Bag Review
Keeper rooftop cargo bag is made of heavy duty rubber laminated nylon and has 15 cubic feet of storage space (11 ft3 model is also available). It’s very roomy and you can fit a lot of stuff inside. It will fit most if not all roof tops and is approximately 44″ x 34″ x 17″.
It’s pretty water resistant but not completely waterproof. For the most part inside manages to stay dry in wet conditions, but there is a small chance of leaks or moisture building up inside the bag.
It’s not fragile but neither is it among most durable rooftop cargo bags. In some cases it starts to develop noticeable signs of wear after few thousand miles of use. That’s not something you will necessary experience, but you have to be aware that there is such a risk. Generally you can expect Keeper waterproof rooftop cargo bag to wear out quicker than some of more durable ones at similar pricing.
Of course any rooftop cargo bag will create drag and create noise, however Keeper seems to make less noise than other bags. How noticeable it is depends on your cars soundproofing (you might not even notice any noise).
Despite some of the shortcomings it’s still a decent waterproof rooftop cargo bag but it isn’t the best.
