Kalamera KRC-46DZB Review – 24” 46-Bottle Wine Refrigerator

Kalamera KRC-46DZB is a dual zone wine refrigerator that can hold up to 46 bottles of wine. Upper zone temperature can be adjusted from 40°F to 50°F whereas in lower zone – from 50°F to 66°F.

It uses compressor system for cooling. Temperature control is accurate and constant. Unit does a good job of keeping your wine cool and is quick to cool down once you set the temperatures.

Since it vents from the front it can be used as either freestanding or built-in appliance.

Features

Kalamera KRC-46DZB comes with 5 beech wood shelves – they are lightweight but seem to be pretty sturdy. They are also easy to pull out.

Door is reversible (can be adjusted for left or right opening) and is lockable. Glass has UV protection tint.

The unit has blue interior LED lighting which looks really elegant as is neither too bright nor too dim.

Control Panel

Control panel is intuitive and simple to use. There you have two temperature readout displays – one for each temperature zone.

Each temperature zone also has its own “up” and “down” buttons for adjusting temperature in 1°C or 1°F increments.

There are two more buttons: ‘C/F’ button that switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales and ”light” button that turns on/off the internal LED lighting.

Design

With the stainless steel parts and sleek design it’s a really good looking unit.

Noise

Kalamera KRC-46DZB is surpisingly quiet. It barely makes any noise as is definitely a lot less noisy than most wine coolers.
