Joy Pebble HZB-12 is a countertop ice maker that can make up to 26 pounds of 12 kilograms of ice cubes in 24 hours.
Ice making
Joy Pebble HZB-12 makes 9 ice cubes per batch with each batch taking 6-10 minutes to be produced.
Ice cube quality is mediocre. They are soft and chewable yet hollow and quite thin making them melt quick in drinks. Ice basket isn’t refrigerated so they will melt unless you put them in freezer but since they come out a bit wet they freeze into clumps if you do.
It can make ice cubes in two different sizes but the difference between is minuscule and even larger size is quite small.
Control panel
Control panel is very basic. There are only two buttons: for turning the ice maker on or off and for selecting ice cube size.
You will also find 5 indicator lights: One of them lights up when the unit is turned on, two of them is for showing which ice cube size setting you have selected (each setting has its own indicator) and two warning indicator lights for when ice basket is full or water needs to be added in water reservoir.
Joy Pebble HZB-12 countertop ice machine is very simple to use. Just add water, plug it in, turn it on and it will start making ice cubes.

Joy Pebble HZB-12 is pretty compact – it measures 12.3 inches wide, 8.7 inches deep and 13 inches high. It uses copper aluminum fin condenser.
Capacity of water reservoir is 68 oz or 2 liters.
Conclusions
Joy Pebble HZB-12 is not a bad ice maker but neither is it great. It has some deficiencies that are acceptable considering the pricing but whether you can live with them is up to you.
