HOWORK 6.55-Quart Stand Mixer Review

HOWORK SM-1518Z is a stand mixer with 660 watt motor and 6.55-quart mixing bowl. It costs a fraction of a KitchenAid stand mixer but can it be a good alternative to one?

Performance

HOWORK SM-1518Z works pretty well. The motor is powerful and it does a good job of mixing anything. With that being said KitchenAid does perform better as it’s more efficient with the mixing and doesn’t require as much scraping. HOWORK SM-1518Z is also a bit noisy.

Another thing to note is that HOWORK SM-1518Z is quite stable and stays in place while mixing.

Quality

The overall quality of HOWORK SM-1518Z stand mixer is decent but not as good as KitchenAid models. KitchenAid models feels better made and sturdier, partially due to being made of metal whereas this HOWORK stand mixer is made of plastic. On the upside the plastic parts make it a lot lighter and easier to carry.

Attachments and the bowl are sturdier on KitchenAid’s too but that’s to be expected since they are also more expensive.

Attachments/Accessories

HOWORK 6.55-quart stand mixer comes with three attachments: whisk, dough hook and.beater Mixing bowl and attachments are not dishwasher safe!

Verdict

HOWORK SM-1518Z is not as good as KitchenAid stand mixers however if you don’t want to spend a lot of money it can be a viable alternative.
