Honda HS720ASA Snow Blower Review
Honda HS720ASA is single-stage gas snow blower with 4-cycle 187cc Honda GC190 OHC engine that develops 5.2 horsepower at 3,600 RPM and 8.3 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,500 RPM. With a cutting width of 20 inches and intake height of 12 it can move up to 1,800 pounds of snow per minute.
Coming from a reputable manufacturer is Honda HS720ASA snow blower as good as we expect?
Performance
Overall Honda HS720ASA performs well. It clears light snow effortlessly and does not struggle even a bit in feet of fluffy snow. Handles wet snow pretty well too but chute can get clogged at times. It will more or less struggle with snow plow pile at the end of driveway though.
It throws snow well too but it won’t throw it as far if there is very little of it (like 2 inches).
Honda HS720ASA has 120-Volt electric start but it starts on first pull so most will never actually use it.
Features
Honda HS720ASA has remote chute/deflector controls.It’s not feature rich though and doesn’t have headlights or hand warmers. Chute rotates 204 degrees. Auger is made of rubber.
Since it has 4-stroke engine you don’t have to mix oil with gas. It’s shipped without oil so don’t forget to add appropriate amount. Honda recommends using 5W-30 oil.
Fuel tank capacity is 0.29 gallons.
Maneuverability
Honda HS720ASA isn’t self propelled. It’s easy to push though and not that hard to maneuver for the most part. HS720ASA has plastic wheels with not so good tread meaning snow can get stuck in tread reducing grip.

Honda HS720ASA weighs 93 pounds which is pretty light for a gas snow blower. It measures 49.6 inches long, 20.9 inches wide and 40.6 inches high.
Conclusions
Honda HS720ASA might lack some features but it’s well built and does do a great job of plowing snow.
