Hamilton Beach 63325 is electric stand mixer equipped with 300 watt motor, 3.5-quart mixing bowl and 6-speed settings. It’s one of the more affordable stand mixers so is it any good?

Performance

Hamilton Beach 63325 stand mixer handles most jobs reasonably well but there are some caveats.

Hamilton Beach 63325 is more of a lighter duty hand mixers. Motor can sometimes feel underpowered and even overheat when mixing stiff, heavy batters. It does handle lighter duty jobs just fine though.

Attachments move around the bowl which is a nice feature as it mixes more effectively this way. Attachments on most other budget priced stand mixers usually are stationary and don’t mix well on the sides so in this aspect the Hamilton Beach works surprisingly well.

It could however mix better at the very bottom of the bowl but this is also a common flaw among cheap stand mixers. Usually this is an issue only if you are mixing a very small amount of ingredients.

Another slight flaw is that there isn’t much free space left when the attachments are inside the bowl meaning you have to stop mixing and lift the head to batter.

Noise

If you have had past experience with high-end stand mixers you will find Hamilton Beach 63325 to be loud. It’s loud enough to where you wouldn’t use if someone’s sleeping at your home.

Quality

Overall build quality is mediocre but isn’t terrible. A lot of parts and attachments are made of plastic where they are made of sturdier materials on more expensive models.

Hamilton Beach 63325 stand mixer comes with dough hook, whisk and flat beater. They are dish-washer safe.

Verdict

Hamilton Beach 63325 stand mixer is far from perfect however that’s kinda obvious when you see the price tag. If you want something affordable and can live with the flaws it’s worth a try. For the money it’s not a bad stand mixer but you should have realistic expectations.
