Performance

Hamilton Beach 41020R brings 1.7 liters of water to boil in about 5-7 minutes. Since most electric kettles have similar capacity and power supply it heats water about as fast as others.

Hamilton Beach 41020R has 6 different temperature modes: 160°F, 175°F, 180°F, 190°F, 200°F and boil. They can be useful if you drink tea or coffee as choosing the right temperature for extraction will improve flavor. Temperatures are slightly off but they are close enough to intended number for it not to really be an issue. If you want something that’s super accurate you will likely have to spend more money.

Hamilton Beach 41020R also has “Keep Warm” feature that will keep water at desired temperature for 30 minutes. It must be turned on manually while kettle is still heating the water.

Quality

The overall quality is decent considering the price however it’s not up to par with electric kettles that are more expensive.

Possible issues

Even though majority of consumer feedback is positive some people have had problems. From those who did most common issues include: leaking, spout detaching and rusting.
