Greenworks 20232 16-Inch 12-Amp Corded Chainsaw Review
Greenworks 20232 is electric corded chainsaw with 12-amp motor that does ~8,500 RPM at no-load. Greenworks 20232 is equipped with 16-inch bar and chain with pitch of 3/8″ (9.5 mm) and gauge of 0.05″ (1.3 mm).
Cutting performance
Cutting performance is adequate for the price. Greenworks 20232 is more appropriate for lighter duty jobs. It can handle more serious jobs too but it will cut a lot longer than more expensive and powerful gas chainsaws.
Greenworks 20232 can be a decent choice for occasional use for light duty jobs. If you will use your chainsaw every week or often will tackle more serious jobs you should get a more advanced unit.
Features
Greenworks 20232 features tool-less chain tensioning (however some consumers have had issues with chain falling off), metal bucking spikes and wrap around handle.
Ease of use
Greenworks 20232 16-Inch 12-Amp chainsaw weighs just 8.8 lbs (4 kg) so it’s easy to use and doesn’t produce much fatigue.
