George Foreman GRP0004B and Panini Press Review
George Foreman GRP0004B is electric indoor grill and panini press with 72 square inch cooking surface.
George Foreman GRP0004B 5-Serving Removable Plate Electric Indoor Grill and Panini Press
George Foreman GRP0004B cooks fairly well and leaves grill marks as well. It’s large enough to cook for 1 or 2 people but for more persons you will probably want a larger model. You can cook 2-3 burger patties simultaneously (quarter pound ones). The ‘’5-serving’’ claim is only true if the servings are very small.
This model doesn’t have temperature control meaning it only has 1 temperature setting. It does get sufficiently hot enough but some might prefer if it was setup to get even hotter (would make it cook faster). Some consumers have had issues with uneven heat distribution though!
Works well with many different foods like steaks, burgers, sandwiches etc. Results are delicious!
Clean up
Cooking plate is removable and has George Tough Nonstick Coating (which is very effective) so nothing really sticks to it. It’s also removable and dishwasher safe but most of the time it will be a breeze to clean by hand too.
Features
George Foreman GRP0004B has comes with drip tray and has other features too including floating hinge, temperature indicator light, sloped design, embedded heating elements as well dishwasher safe removable plates with nonstick coating.
Quality
George Foreman GRP0004B has a plastic shell. It doesn’t feel very sturdy so it’s not something you would want to drop but as long as you don’t do that it should be sturdy enough.
Other
Cord is very short.
Verdict
George Foreman GRP0004B cooks fairly well but it’s fairly small bare-bones unit without temperature control, on/off switch or timer. It works just fine but it might be a bit overpriced.
