GEFT 600W Stand Mixer Review (5.5 liter / 5.8 Quart)

GEFT GE-8615 is a stand mixer with 5.8 quart (5.5 liter) mixing bowl and 600 watt motor.

Performance

GEFT GE-8615 has 6 speed settings and the power is sufficient for most mixing jobs. It could mix sides better however as sometimes you will have to stop the stand mixer and scrape more often than you would with a higher-end model.

Another downside to this stand mixer is that it’s also quite loud (but most cheap stand mixers are).

At the end of the day it does the job, not as fast as high-end models, but nonetheless it does the job.

Quality

Overall build-quality is mediocre but adequate for the money. GEFT GE-8615 stand mixer is mostly made of plastic so it doesn’t feel particularly sturdy but at least it’s light making it easy to carry. There seems to be slight design flaw for how handle is secured to the bowl so it might eventually come off.

For casual mixing it’s probably sturdy enough, the only really worrying thing is that the handle might come off the mixing bowl. However if you need stand mixer for daily heavy use you really need a high-end model.

Verdict

GEFT GE-8615 leaves mixed impressions. It’s not as well made or as effective as higher end models like KitchenAid 6 Qt. Professional 600 Series however it’s much more affordable making it hard to criticize its flaws.
