ENZOO Conical Burr Coffee Grinder Review

ENZOO burr coffee grinder is equipped with 40mm solid stainless steel conical burr. It features 40 different grind fineness settings from coarse to fine. Bean hopper holds Bean hopper holds 8.5 oz (240 grams) of coffee beans which is about 30-32 worth of cups. Grounds container holds up to 13 cups worth of grounds coffee. Being among among lest expensive burr grinders how good is it?

Grinding

ENZOO burr coffee grinder grinds under 450 RPM which not only decreases noise but also heat so flavor isn’t extracted from beans during grinding which can make coffee bitter and lacking in flavors. Grind is obviously not as consistent as you get with high-end models but it’s decent.

Coarse grinds aren’t good. Even on coarsest setting ENZOO burr coffee grinder grinds closer to medium grind size rather than coarse.

Medium size grinds are good (respective to the price of the grinder) and is what this burr grinder is best at.

Grinds on finest setting aren’t quite as fine as you would want them to be but it might work for espresso if you use pressurized portafilter.

As all burr grinders do make some noise so ENZOO isn’t exactly quiet but it’s not too loud either. It’s quieter than most.

Controls

Grind fineness is adjusted with a dial. Other than that there are 3 buttons: two for adjusting grinding time (from 10 to 50 seconds) and one for turning burr grinder on or off.

Features

Burr is removable for easier cleaning. Also comes with adapter to grind coffee beans directly into portafilter.

Conclusions

ENZOO Conical Burr Coffee Grinder is not a proper replacement for a high-end model but it can be a good upgrade from blade grinder if you are looking for your first burr grinder and drink coffee requiring medium grinds. It’s not really suited for coarse grinds, it’s mediocre for fine grinds but works well for medium size grinds.
