Emeril Lagasse S·AFO-001 Power 360 Deluxe Air Fryer Oven Review

Emeril Lagasse S·AFO-001 Power 360 is an air fryer with 16.1-quart cooking capacity. It has 5 heating elements and can cook in temperatures ranging from 85°F to 450°F (depending which preset your are using) whereas most air fryers only go as high as 400°F.

Cooking

Emeril Lagasse S·AFO-001 Power 360 air fryer cooks well but there are some nuances that make it not among the best. It takes longer to preheat than the best air fryers and longer to cook too.

Some air fryers do seem to do a slightly better job with cooking specific foods too. For example with some air fryers you will get crispier outside if you are cooking chicken even though with Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 inside is very juicy.

Overall it cooks good but not great. Another issue is that you have to be careful as housing of the air fryer can get very hot and definitely shouldn’t be touched during cooking process or 30 minutes after.

Accessories

Emeril Power 360 Air Fryer comes with more accessories than most other air fryers. It comes with crisper tray, pizza rack, rotating rotisserie spit, baking pan and drip tray. Different accessories have different weight limits:

• Rotisserie Spit: 4 lb (1814 g)

Controls

Emeril Power 360 Air Fryer has LCD display that shows multitude of information (temperature, time left, which heating elements are active, if AirFry fan is on, etc.) as well 3 dials/control knobs and 5 buttons:

• Control knobs
  • “Temp/Darkness” control knob: All of the programs have default temperature setting but with this knob you can change it (even during cooking cycle). If you are using “Toast” or “Bagel” program then it adjusts darkness of bread.
  • “Time/Slices” control knob: All of the programs have default cooking time setting but with this knob you can change it (even during cooking cycle). If you are using “Toast” or “Bagel” program then select number of slices being toasted.
  • “Select” control knob: Scrolls through programs/presets.
• Buttons
  • “Air Fry” button: Activates fan if you want to do air-fry cooking. Works with AirFry, Pizza, Bake, Rotisserie, Slow Cook, Roast, Dehydrate and Reheat programs.
  • “Light” button: Turns interior light on or off.
  • “°F | °C” button: Switches between temperature scales (Fahrenheit and Celsius)
  • “Cancel” button: Press to cancel cooking process. Hold for 3 seconds to turn air fryer off.
  • “Start/Pause” button: Starts cooking process or pauses it if you are already in one.

Despite some of the flaws Emeril Lagasse is a great air fryer oven.
