Delish by Dash Compact 3.5-Quart Stand Mixer Review

Delish by Dash Compact is a stand mixer that costs about as much as a hand mixer. It’s equipped with 350 watt motor and comes with 3.5-quart mixing bowl. Is it worth the money?

Performance

Delish by Dash Compact stand mixer for reasonably well only for light duty mixing. One of the issues is that it doesn’t reach the bottom and sides of the bowl so you have to constantly scrape them to mix everything properly. What makes it worse is that some batters just keep sticking to the sides all the time.

Another flaw is that attachments are quite small and just doesn’t mix that well. This means it takes a long time to make the job done.

Delish by Dash Compact defeats the purpose of a stand mixer. Stand mixers are supposed to make mixing simple and convenient without you having to interfere all the time but that’s not the case with Delish by Dash Compact. With KitchenAid stand mixers being to expensive it’s easy to understand why something might want to look for something more affordable however there’s a reason why they are so popular – they are well made and work really well.

Delish by Dash Compact 3.5-quart stand mixer comes with 2 dough hooks, 2 mixer beaters and 3.5 qt stainless steel mixing bow. They are dishwasher safe.

Quality

The quality is not that good. Delish by Dash Compact stand mixer is made of what feels like the cheapest, thinnest, least sturdy plastic. The only good thing about this is that Delish by Dash Compact stand mixer is very lightweight making it super easy to hold and carry however it doesn’t feel sturdy at all.

Delish by Dash Compact 3.5-quart stand mixer has suctions cups at the bottom to hold it in place when mixing. They work reasonably well and are definitely necessary as the weight of this stand mixer is too light to hold it in place on its own.

Verdict

Delish by Dash Compact 3.5-quart stand mixer feels more like a toy than a proper stand mixer. It can do some light duty jobs but for serious baking it’s just not good enough. It’s understandable why you might not want to spend a lot of money on a Kitchenaid stand mixer as they are so expensive however there is a good reason for their price.
