DASH DNMWM455SL is a 1200W waffle maker that makes 4 waffles at once each measuring 3.75″ by 3.75″.

Waffle making

DASH DNMWM455SL heats up fast and temperature distribution is consisted across the whole cooking area so waffles are cooked evenly on both sides. Just plug it in and wait until green light turns on!

Waffles come out pretty much perfect, they are crisp, light and delicious.

Housing

Housing of DASH DNMWM455SL waffle maker is made of plastic which is a slight disappointment. Granted most waffle makers of similar size and pricing have plastic housing but there are some that have housing made with better materials like stainless steel.

Features

DASH DNMWM455SL has PFOA free nonstick coating which works well but cooking plates are not removable and although they are simple to wipe cleaning them properly is a bit difficult.

Another practical feature is overflow ditch (built-in pocked sited) which will catch excessive dough.

It comes with instruction manual that includes nice recipes so don’t forget to try them out!

Conclusions

DASH DNMWM455SL cooks great waffles. In some of the other aspects it’s not quite perfect but that’s to be expected for something that’s relatively inexpensive.
