Dash DAFT2350 Chef Series is a 7-in-1 convection toaster oven with 23 liter capacity (24.3 quarts). It has 1500 watt power supply and maximum cooking temperature of 450°F.

Dash Chef Series convection toaster oven cooks quite well. Almost everything is made delicious and juicy. It has 7 cooking modes: warm, toast, air fry, broil, bake, convection bake and rotisserie.

Toasting and baking modes work great. Air Fry mode works great most of the time but ocasionally results might be less than perfect with some foods. Broiler cooking mode is decent but not great as well.

Dash Chef Series convection toaster oven comes with rotisserie accessories so you can cook a small chicken or cornish hen. The rotisserie feature works great and results are delicious.

Are there convection toaster ovens that cook better? There are however they are also more expensive and sometimes less versatile than Dash DAFT2350 Chef Series. For example Cuisinart TOB-260N1 typically retails at higher price and doesn’t have rotisserie feature. June Oven is the perfect convection oven however it’s far too expensive for most.

Dash Chef Series 7-in-1 convection toaster oven comes with air fry basket, baking pan, oven rack, rotisserie skewer, removal tool, and drip tray.

Control panel

Most convection toaster ovens have digital controls but not this one. Dash DAFT2350 is equipped with old-school mechanical knobs and no display screen. Whether this is a good or a bad thing comes down to personal preference. Digital controls are typically a bit more accurate however mechanical are faster and simpler to use.

Dash Chef Series 7-in-1 convection toaster oven has 4 dials: air fry dial, timer dial, function dial and temperature dial. Very simple to use and choosing settings take mere seconds.

Reliability

Some consumers have reported their units breaking after about 1 year of use. It’s hard to estimate how common such issue is but those reports might be a sign that long-term reliability is perhaps not the best trait of this model.

With that being said majority of consumers feedback is positive and any product will have some negative feedback from some of the consumers for one or another reason.

Verdict

Dash DAFT2350 Chef Series is somewhat mediocre toaster oven but that’s not a bad thing in this case. If you consider the price, versatility and cooking capacity you can come to conclusion that the value for money offered here is pretty good even if it’s not the best convection oven you can buy.
