Danby DWC350BLPA 35 Bottle Wine Cooler Review
Danby DWC350BLPA is a budget priced wine cooler with a capacity to store 35 wine bottles. So does it work well enough despite being cheaply priced?
Cooling
According to manufacturer it works in temperature range of 42.8°F to 57.2°F (6°C to 14°C). It does have temperature control but it offers only 3 settings: maximum, medium, minimum.
Temperature is not distributed evenly: the top of this fridge is 3 to 9 °F warmer than bottom.
It must be noted that it’s a bit noisy!
Holding capacity
It will hold 35 wine bottles that are of standard size or smaller, however you won’t be able to store as many bottles of different shape/bigger size i.e. you will only be able to fit about 30 Bordeaux type wine bottles.
Quality
As expected for the price it’s a bit cheaply made. In picture it might look like it has stainless steel finish but it’s rather plastic one that imitates platinum. Interior walls are pretty thin too.
That being said Danby DWC350BLPA wine cooler seems to be very reliable. There are multiple accounts from consumers reporting units working without issues for many years. Some have had it for 10+ years and report it still working.

It can be used only as a free-standing application. You should allow 5 inches of space between all sides otherwise you will burn up the compressor.

Conclusions
Danby DWC350BLPA wine cooler is far from perfect but it’s very inexpensive. It’s up to you to decide whether it’s worth to live with its flaws to save the money – for some it’s, for other it’s not. That’s why it has very mixed feedback from consumers, it will satisfy those that doesn’t have high expectations or needs, but if you need a refined appliance that works flawlessly look elsewhere!
