Ice Production

COWSAR countertop ice maker makes a batch of 9 bullet shaped ice cubes in less than 10 minutes (usually every 7-8 minutes).

Ice cube quality is fairly good. They taste pute but are a bit soft and come out wet. They are also a bit small in size but not too small. Bullet shape with hollow middle provides more contact ground that regular ‘’square’’ shaped ice cubes improving the cooling ability.

COWSAR countertop ice maker is equipped with high-speed fan that does make a little bit of noise. The action of dropping ice cubes into ice basket also makes some noise. Overall the ice maker is not very loud but some consumers might find these noises displeasing.

Ice Basket

Ice basket doesn’t work as a freezer meaning already made ice cubes left there will slowly melt. If you want to save ice for later use you will need to put them in the freezer. Since ice cubes come out a bit wet they might freeze into a clump that you might have to break apart later (fairly simple if you have ice pick).

Lid is transparent so you can see how many ice cubes are in the basket without opening lid. This make COWSAR countertop ice maker a little bit more convenient to use as well you don’t have to let warm air inside everytime you want to check on ice.

Control Panel

Control panel of COWSAR countertop ice maker features “On/Off’’ button as well 3 indicator lights: “Add Water” (indicates that water tank is empty), “Ice Full” (indicates that ice basket is full) and “Power”.

To turn on the ice maker and start making ice simply press “On/Off’’ button. If you want to start self-cleaning process then press and hold that button for 5 seconds.
