Cosori CP358-AF XL is a 1700 Watt 12-in-1 air fryer with 5.8 quart cooking basket, large enough to cook for 4 persons at a time. Cosori is one of the most popular air fryer manufacturers and are often recommended by both experts and consumers. They cook well and offer great value for money. Is this also the case for CP358-AF XL?

Cooking

Just like other Cosori air fryers we have written about before CP358-AF XL also cooks really well. Food is cooked evenly and is crispy on outside without losing any juices inside. Works great not only meat or fish but other foods as well including french fries, vegetables, donuts, frozen foods and more!

Presets

Cosori CP358-AF XL has 12 presets: steak, chicken, seafood, bacon, vegetables, toast, frozen foods, bake, french fries, and shrimp. Most of them don’t work great though. Temperature is a bit too high and cooking time too long. It’s best to find optimal cooking settings (temperature and time) yourself and use manual mode instead.

Quality

Overall build quality is decent. It’s not as robust as high-end units but that’s what you would expect considering price difference. There’s really only 1 thing you can complain about – handle design. It’s common for handle screws to loosen over time making handle wobbly so you might have to retighten them once in a while.

Control panel

Cosori CP358-AF XL air fryer features LCD display and touch sensitive controls. Temperature can be adjusted from 170°F to 400°F in 10 degree increments and cooking time from 1 to 60 minutes.

Features

Cosori CP358-AF XL features anti-skid pads and rear cooling system. It also has auto-shut off and “Keep warm” functions. Cooking basket is dishwasher safe, nonstick as well PFOA and BPA free.

Conclusions

Overall Cosori CP358-AF XL is a good air fryer for a family of four. Presets might not work well but it cooks well and is simple to use.
