Cosori CP258-AF Air Fryer Review

Cosori CP258-AF is an air fryer with 5.8-quart cooking capacity that can cook in temperatures ranging from 170°F to 400°F. It’s large enough to cook for 3-4 persons at a time.

Cooking

Just like most air fryers Cosori CP258-AF cooks well. French fries come out crispy and not soggy at all. Works really well with pretty much anything you could cook with air fryer – onion rings, chicken wings, roasted veggies, frozen foods, you name it. Even steak comes out surprisingly good even though they are not quite as good as when cooked on hot cast iron pan.

Only issue you might come across is that initially there is burnt smell and taste when you cook but this is normal for any air fryer. What you could do to get rid of this is cook slices pieces of lemon, lemon juice or vinegar for 15-20 minutes. Doing this once or twice is usually enough to get rid of the smell and taste. With that being said some users have reported having a trouble getting rid of this smell for some reason.

Control panel

Control panel is straightforward and easy to use. Only complaint is that you have to cycle through presets whereas on other air fryers each preset usually has its own button.

Other

Stainless steel finish makes this air fryer more attractive than most other similarly priced models. Aesthetics is not the most important thing when it comes to such appliances but nonetheless it’s nicer to have a visually attractive air fryer.

Verdict

Most Cosori air fryers are pretty good and CP258-AF is no exception. It cooks well and is simple to use other than the fact that you have to cycle through presets.
