COSORI CO137-AF 3.7QT Electric Air Fryer Review

COSORI CO137-AF is 1500 Watt electric air fryer with 3.7 quart cooking basket which can cook in temperatures from 180°F to 400°F. COSORI is a well known air fryer manufacturer and we have written about its other models in the past with positive verdicts so is this also the case for 3.7-quart CO137-AF?

Cooking

Unsurprisingly COSORI CO137-AF cooks fast and well. Dishes you want to be crispy on outside end up being crispy on the outside without losing moisture on the inside. Wings, french fries, steak, potatoes, chicken, shrimp and more ends up tasting delicious while being healthy. If there’s one thing you can complain about it’s noise. COSORI CO137-AF air fryer is a bit noisy.

The relatively small basket size means it’s only big enough to cook for 2 people, maybe 3, at a time.

Controls

COSORI CO137-AF air fryer features old fashioned controls combined with modern engineering – dials with accurate tick marks and non slip grooves. Many air fryers nowadays have touch-sensitive buttons instead which is by no means a bad thing but many still prefer physical controls. It’s just a thing of preference.

With that being said COSORI CO137-AF air fryer is simple and intuitive to use.

Quality

For the most part quality is good. There’s one issue though – handle design. It does feel cheap and you might have to retighten screws once in a while.

COSORI CO137-AF doesn’t have cooking presets like some of the other air fryers do but it does have printed recommended cooking settings for 8 foods on top of it (French fries, chicken, steak, seafood, shrimp, root vegetable, desserts and frozen foods).

Cooking basket is nonstick making it easy to clean as well BPA and PFOA free so you food won’t be contaminated with harmful chemicals. It also has holes allowing grease to flow away from food making it even healthier.

Conclusions

Overall COSORI CO137-AF is a good air fryer despite some minor flaws. It cooks well and is easy to use. If you want to cook for more than 2 persons at a time you should look for a bigger air fryer but if that’s not the case CO137-AF is worth considering.
