COSORI 26.4QT Air Fryer Toaster Combo Review [Model: CS100-AO]

COSORI CS100-AO is an air fryer with 26.4-quart cooking capacity with temperature range of 80°F to 450°F (most air fryers only go as high as 400°F). COSORI is one of the most popular air fryer manufacturers so is the CS100-AO as good as you would expect?

Cooking

COSORI CS100-AO cooks food well and everything comes out delicious however there are some nuances.

First, it does require preheating. It doesn’t take more than few minutes but some air fryers doesn’t require that (those are typically smaller sized basket air fryers).

Second, if you are cooking something very large or oven is full of food it might not cook perfectly even. This usually doesn’t happen often but since it might it must be mentioned.

Third, food comes out crispy but you might expect more crispiness. This can be easily solved by spraying a little bit of oil on food before cooking it.

Fourth, it does emit some heat but not as much as full-sized oven. Front glass tends to get hot and some of the housing might too.

Fifth, it’s also is a bit louder than air fryers typically are. It’s not super loud but be aware it’s not the quietest air fryer out there.

Despite these flaws it’s still a pretty good air fryer. It does cook well and food does come out tasting great which is the most important thing. Since COSORI CS100-AO offers quite a lot for its price it can still be considered a good air fryer despite the fact it’s not perfect (but nothing really is).

VeSync App

COSORI CS100-AO can be operated through VeSync App (can be found on Apple App Store and Google Play Store). With VeSync App app you can preheat the air fryer, find recipes and automatically apply cooking settings, turn interior light and convection fan on or off, check your settings and track cooking progress.

What you can’t do is start cooking with it. For safety reasons you have to press the button on air fryer yourself.

Controls

COSORI CS100-AO has LCD display, 6 buttons and knob for adjustments.

• “Power Button“:
  • Press to turn air fryer on or off.
  • If air fryer is cooking pressing this button will cancel it.
  • To pair your phone and air fryer with VeSync app hold this button for 5 seconds.
  • If you want to reset COSORI CS100-AO air fryer to factory settings hold this button for 15 seconds.
• “Temp/Time“ Button:
  • Press once to adjust temperature with control knob. For cooking times under 60 minutes temperature can by adjusted in 1 minute increments. For 1 to 2 hours in 5 minute increments. For 2 to 3 hours in 10 minute increments. For over 3 hours in 15 minute increments. If you are using dehydrate or ferment function cooking time is adjusted in 30 minute increments.
  • Press twice to adjust cooking time with control knob. Temperature can be adjusted in 5°F increments.
• “Start/Pause“ Button:
  • Press to start or pause cooking.
• “Shake Button“:
  • To add shake reminder halfway through cooking process press this button.
  • To reset cooking functions to factory settings hold this button.
• “Fan/Light“ Button:
  • To turn convection fan on or off press this button.
  • To turn interior light on or off hold this button.
• “Preheat“ Button:
  • To activate preheat function press this button, then select cooking function with the control knob and press “Preheat” button to begin preheating.

Conclusions

Despite some of the flaws COSORI CS100-AO is still a pretty good air fryer for the money. It cooks food well, has large cooking capacity and is more feature-rich than most air fryers from other manufacturers.
