COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH is a budget priced chainsaw with 19.3-inch bar and 58cc engine that output 3.5 horsepower at 8.500 RPM. Being one of the cheapest chainsaws you can buy can it be any good?
Cutting performance of COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH is mediocre as you would expect for such inexpensive chainsaw. It can move its chain at 48 feet per second at no load which isn’t terrible but is mediocre for a gas chainsaw. A decent chain speed at no load would be 60 feet per second and more. Although chain speed is not the only thing that determines cutting speed it’s one of them.
Chain itself is mediocre but it’s not an absolute garbage which is sometimes the case with cheap chainsaws.
With that being said COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH does cut decently well for its price. It’s no match for a more expensive Husqvarna or STIHL and will cut considerably slower but it can still get the job done.
You wouldn’t call it lightweight but it also isn’t too heavy for its size since it weighs 15.4 lbs (7 kg).
COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH can be a bit difficult to start at times.
COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH has features like automatic chain oiler and chain brake.
Value for money is great however since COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH is inexpensive that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good chainsaw. If you will use your chainsaw on common basis then it would be a wiser choice to buy more expensive Husqvarna or STIHL, but if you only need to use chainsaw occasionally then perhaps spending hundreds of dollars on high-class unit doesn’t make sense and COOCHEER 5800 DSGS-56GH might be sufficient.
